In the year of coronavirus, my family was not able to meet in person for our annual family reunion. I was tasked with creating an emblem for an apron that was gifted to everyone in the family. This reunion is unlike other family reunions in that we make Swedish sausage all together and let it cure for a couple weeks and eat it on Christmas. I wanted to make sure I encompassed those elements: our Swedish-American tradition, the copper pot that we mix the sausage in and the sausage itself!
